- Account information — name, email, company, and password (stored hashed), provided when you sign up.
- Request content — titles, descriptions, links, files, and comments you submit to your queue.
- Billing information — handled by our payment provider and Merchant of Record, Paddle; we receive limited details such as plan, status, and the last four digits of your card, but not full card numbers.
- Usage and device data — log data, IP address, browser type, and interactions, collected automatically.
2. How we use information
- to provide, operate, and improve the Services;
- to deliver requests and communicate with you about your account;
- to process payments and prevent fraud;
- to comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. Legal bases
Where the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) apply, we process personal information on the bases of contract performance, our legitimate interests in operating the Services, your consent (where requested), and compliance with legal obligations.
4. Service providers and sharing
We share personal information with vendors who process it on our behalf, under appropriate safeguards, including Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage; hosted in the EU — Frankfurt) and Vercel (application hosting). We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
Payments are handled by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited), our reseller and Merchant of Record. For your payment and billing information, Paddle acts as an independent data controller — not as a processor acting on our behalf — and its handling of that data is governed by the Paddle Privacy Notice at paddle.com/legal/privacy.
5. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, then for up to 12 months after your account is closed or as required by law, after which we delete or anonymize it.
6. Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal information, and to object or withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact hello@madeday.co. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
8. Cookies and tracking
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party analytics cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
9. International transfers
Your information may be processed in the European Union (Frankfurt) and Türkiye. Where required, we rely on appropriate transfer mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
10. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy with a new effective date and, where required, notify you.
